After interning here at LASC, I am sad to say goodbye to this organization. Working with the wonderful people here has made my experience in Ireland unforgettable. Learning more about Latin America through current events and the movie reviews I wrote opened my eyes to cultures I had not been previously exposed to. While working here, my main tasks have been coordinating volunteers and communicating with different organizations. I have learned invaluable skills that I can carry on throughout my professional career. I would like to thank Alba Martos Rosa and David Wright for being the best bosses, and more importantly friends to me during my time here. I can’t wait to see what the future of LASC will hold.

The time I have spent interning at the Latin America Solidarity Centre will always be dear to my heart. I am glad I was able to be a part of this flourishing organization. It was certainly a learning experience as my main tasks were to research articles to share on social media platforms, update the website, and organize the weekly newsletter. I also had the opportunity to participate in fundraising for LASC. I have gained a stronger connection with Latin America, great relationships with my co-workers, and the opportunity to develop my professional skills. I will continue to support LASC and am excited to see its future.
