Emma Jones

Summer Intern

Hello! My name is Emma Jones and I am an intern here at LASC until the end of July. I am from the south suburbs of Chicago in the United States and study at the University of Massachusetts. I am here taking an international business class at Griffith College in Dublin while interning at LASC. I hope to broaden my knowledge of Latin American culture and learn more about the issues affecting this area, as well as how they relate to the rest of the world.

Maria Villatoro

Summer Intern

Hi! I am Maria Villatoro and I am interning with the Latin America Solidarity Centre this summer. I am from Long Island, New York, although I strongly identify with my Salvadorian ethnicity. I study marketing, international business, and graphic design at the State University of New York at Oswego. During my time here at LASC, my goals are to: become more informed about the different issues that the people of Latin America face, educate people by sharing the news on social media, discover new ways to be involved and promote awareness.
