The Latin American Solidarity Centre (LASC) and WorldWise Global Schools are offering this Free Training Opportunity  for Spanish teachers in secondary schools. It will take place on Zoom on Friday 6th November at 4pm, and it will be a great opportunity for teachers to learn new skills for introducing Latin American development issues in the Spanish curriculum.

The training will provide an overview of approaches to development education/global citizenship education; how these support learning objectives in the Spanish curriculum; as well as some practical support for using LASC’s teaching resources for secondary schools in the classroom.

Certificates will be available for all teachers that complete the workshop to certify that they attended it if they want to count it towards Croke Park/33 hours. The workshops also count towards the WorldWise Global Schools Global Passport Award for your school (details will be given during the workshop). Furthermore, we can cover costs for teacher substitution if it is necessary for you to attend the workshop.

If you are interested in taking part but can’t make it on the 6th November, write to us at education@lasc.ie and we will get in touch for future trainings.
