The Latin American Development Issues Course is perfect for you!
Facilitated by the Latin American Solidarity Centre and supported by Irish Aid, this 10-week course will start the Tuesday 23rd January 2018. A lively and participative course open to all participants with any kind of interest in Latin America.
In this QQI Level 5 module, participants will learn about the causes and consequences of lack of development in Latin America. Participants will acquire a general understanding of Latin American social, political, historical and economic developments as well as more detailed information about topics of contemporary significance, such as trade, labour issues, indigenous issues and popular resistance.
Participants will become familiar with many of the issues facing people in Latin America, how they have responded to them and how these problems relate to Ireland and the rest of the world.
