Four indigenous Mapuche activists have resumed their hunger strike in Chile in protest at their arrest and imprisonment on charges of terrorism. The law under which they are held was passed during the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet, and has been applied to the Mapuches in their ongoing struggle to recover their ancestral lands.
