LASC currently has a project as part of its development education programme, which is to produce a 'Country Box' for as many Latin American countries as possible. LASC would like to produce country boxes for use at our Latin American Issues workshops, and also for occasional workshops in schools. We may also make them available for other groups to borrow.
What is a Country Box?
A country box is a box filled with items available in a given country, which tell a story about the culture and daily life in that country. A facilitator can use it with a group as a creative way of introducing a country and stimulating discussion about life and issues there.
